Hi Ramesh, Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Financial Services (PGDBFS) enables the student to broad base his or her career options in the BFSI sector. Besides covering important foundation and core modules in banking and financial services, it provides an opportunity to specialize in one of these two areas. The diploma carries professional recognition among the banking and finance community and hence would definitely help you to get opportunities in banks and other financial organization.   Institute of Finance Banking & Insurance is very reputed institute. It also provides assistance in placement. You may check the previous year placement records of the institute. You may visit the Institute website (http://www.ifbi.com) for all the relevant details. We would also suggest you to contact the alumni and current students of the institute to get the real feedback about the institute. Hope this helps.

The program you asking for is Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Financial Services (PGDBFS):

IFBI is an NIIT Venture with equity participation by ICICI Bank. The two are the parent companies of IFBI.It is an autonomous institute offering industry designed courses. I do not see any problem in going for it if you are not looking for MBA programs or so. According to me, Maximum placements should have been in the Banking,Financial and Insurance sectors.

All the Best!
