Should an MBA (HR) aspirant look at doing any short term course in HR
i hv completed my Bsc-IT this year.n appearing 4 cet 2011.i want to do MBA-HR full time(in Mumbai).m giving TISS,NMAT,CAT(main focus on CET) MY q is:\n1.what are the courses i can do in this year which will help me for HR (mostly part time or short term(full/part time)?plz suggest me as sn as posib

Go ahead with MBA with Major IT and minor HR. This is the best combination.

Along with MBA HR , u can also do some short term certificate courses in Six Sigma/ Applied Psychology . U can also go for MA Sciology, Diploma in Training and development, u can also opt for some diploma course in Labour Law. This will be an added advantage to you. All these courses are readily av

If you are planning to do a regular MBA program in HR and are preparing for various entrance exams. I would suggest that you should completely focus on your preparation. Reason being that if you would be able to crack the entrances well and get into one of the decent B-School for MBA in HR then

Hi,
I would suggest you better concentrate on your entrance tests. Try to get high scores so that you get into a good institute for MBA. Once this is done the rest follows automatically. Cross the bridge when it comes!
