Hi to all, I am a ECE graduate, recently i have gone through Tancet and alloted for M.E in POWER ELECTRONICS & DRIVES in Governement college of Technology, i heard that Power electronics and drives is EEE brach. Is there problem for me in future to do Phd or lecturing jobs. please help me on this.

. you migth not have any problem . eee is core branch and ece is a branch of it . so ur dept in college, ur lecture shall be eee. as far as phd is concerned you can do in any dept. i know one proff. who completed b.e in chemical and did phd in mechanical related field . and as far as Anna univ. pro

Dear Sankarmuthiah As per as my knowledge you can go for it an there won't be any problem for enrolling in P.Hd. And if you are looking for life long career in education industry then colleges prefer Btech + Mtech in mechanical branch + P. Hd for director level post. Better you should vist AICTE web
