If you are asking for the best branch, then it is Computer Science. But, it all depends on your interest. So, how to find out your field of interest? You have enough time for that. If you find logic gates, electricity, magnetism chapters interesting (you will find them in class12 physics) go for Electronics and Communication Engineering. If you find C language interesting (which you will get if you have computer as your additional subject)
If you find Mechanics interesting, go for Mechanical. Same is with Civil, Electrical or any branch. It all depends on in which field you are interested in. But wait.
Is it the right time to think for i

Best branch to take at present are:
Computer Engineering (Best to have job, 100% secure, you will have a job)
Civil Engineering (urban development) is a great degree if you have a good interest, and will score & perform well, it will be an awesome job career
Automobile Engineering is a good choice to have a great exposure, BMW, AUDI, PORSCHE. The main person to give these brands a great looking car is the AUTOMOBILE ENGINEER. Actually all B.Tech courses are the best if you have that kinda passion and interest. But in coming few years (2-4), these fields will give you a better outcome.

Presently, you should concentrate on your class 11th and 12th studies. Your 12th marks will play a major role in deciding the college for your engineering. Also, as far as the branch of engineering is concerned, you will be able to decide this purely on your interest in the subjects. Moreover, the first year of engineering is the basic one and has common subjects for all the streams, this will help you to understand the scope and utilization of every stream of engineering and recognize your interest. So after your first year of engineering, you can easily switch your stream based on your area of interest. Note: Changing stream after fi

    Hello brother,
You are conscious about your future. That is very good. I appreciate that. But, to me, your question has its answer deep down in itself. Focus on your mind and understand that in which part of engineering motivates you the most, attracts you the most. If you like the sophisticated life of IT then go for CSE/IT. If you like the evergreen branches of core field, then go for electrical/civil/mechanical. If you like the chemical industries, then chemical is for you. If you like the marine life then, marine engineering. Matter of fact is all the branches are best in their own way. First choose your interest, then go for it.
