I am in class 11 (maths). What can I pursue in engineering? Which is the best branch of engineering?

Hi,
All branches of engineering are good, rest depends on your interest. -
In engineering, there has mixed opportunities. From last 5 to 7 years, private sector is down so the job opportunities are less for freshers. But if you pass out with good marks, you can get a job in TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Indian Rail, etc.
In engineering, civil branch is all time good but now this sector is down. Electrical and Computer branch is good today. If you pass out in electronic then you can easily get a job in Train as a loco pilot. In electronic department, you can get a job very easily.
If you study in B.Sc Honors, there are so many opportunities more than engineering. -

7 years agoIt's based on your interest. I think civil, EEE or CSE is a good option for a secured future. -
Hello,
There's nothing as 'best' in any stream. It depends on your field of interest and when you are passionate enough about your goals, you will get success no matter what. -
Hi. Every Branch of Engineering has it's own scope. It depends upon you that in which field you are interested in or looking to pursue your career. College and universities play a big role in career but your skills and knowledge make more sense. So take right decision by choosing best for you. Go for what you love to do or to study.

I think aeronautical engineering and chemical engineering are better than other streams like mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.

Mechanical branch is very much in demand in this time in the world.
