In engineering, there has mixed opportunities. From last 5 to 7 years, private sector is down so the job opportunities are less for freshers. But if you pass out with good marks, you can get a job in TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Indian Rail, etc.
In engineering, civil branch is all time good but now this sector is down. Electrical and Computer branch is good today. If you pass out in electronic then you can easily get a job in Train as a loco pilot. In electronic department, you can get a job very easily.
If you study in B.Sc Honors, there are so many opportunities more than engineering.

It's based on your interest. I think civil, EEE or CSE is a good option for a secured future.

    Hello,
There's nothing as 'best' in any stream. It depends on your field of interest and when you are passionate enough about your goals, you will get success no matter what.

I would say this is not the right time to think about this. Firstly, concentrate on your class 11th and 12th and the competitive exam you will be taking. After you are done with these and the results are out, then you can think about this point.

I think aeronautical engineering and chemical engineering are better than other streams like mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.
