    It depends on your interest. All the branches are good. If you want to work in a cabin with a good package then CS is the best and if you want core engineering then civil engineering is the best option.

    Firstly, you have to find your right interest and you are in a great position to do so. Focus on your 11th syllabus and study smartly rather than hard. At the end of your 12th, you would be able to know what you can do in your further studies. And my suggestion is that you should start well in 11th because when your start is good, you would be in a better position to bend your interests in further engineering.

    Mechanical engineering is the best stream in case you have liking for maths.

    Hello,
    First, you have to focus on your class 11th and 12th and analyse yourself that in which field you are good and in which field you have interest and then choose branch according to your interest.

    I must say you one thing, just follow your interest of study, if you have an interest in some field then go for that branch and don't think of placement.

    You have a variety of options available in the field of engineering.
    Find out what you are interested in: computers(hardware and softwares), information technology(coding), automation/robotics, automobiles/vehicles, construction(civil), chemical engineering, etc.
    Mechanical and civil engineering are related to real world practical analysis and the remaining:electrical, electronics, computers, I.t. are technology based.

    In engineering, it totally depends whether you want to do core subjects or want to do something in the technical field by working in an extrovert manner. As being a computer science student, I want to join into this which not only help you in the technical field, but also in the core subjects.

    If you are interested in Maths and logic, then go for computer engineering or IT. If you are interested in Physics, then go for mechanical or electrical. If you are interested in Chemistry, then go for chemical engineering.
