You should not go for the best branch, instead you should go for your interest, if you'll follow your interest, then you can do wonders in anything.

Lalshay, right now focus on your XIIth standard and on the JEE exams which you would need to give. You need to select the branch of engineering based on what kind of job you would like to do and what interests you more. For example if your are thoroughly interested in computers then opt for Computer Science.

It all depends on your interest. As you are a student of 11th standard, first of all, focus on the basic concepts of PCM. After completing your 12th, just go through the different national level exams for engineering. After 12th, search your interest related branch. If your interest is in electronic gadgets and you are willing to know about them in detail. You can opt for electronics. If your programming is good, go for CSE.

Don't follow the people around you. All you need to try is to go through the internet and search for as many sides after 12th as much as you want. Go into their detail and make up your mind. I suggest B.Sc with forensic science, biotech or food technology. If you are thinking for UPES exams further go for BA programme with geography or economics.

Before thinking about which branch to pursue first, focus on preparing for your engineering entrance exams. Once you score well in these exams then you will have the option to select from the multitude of options available. Also, try to find what you are passionate about.

You can pursue any branch of engineering of your choice. 1st, I will suggest you do your best in class 11th and 12th and engineering entrance exam. After you get a good score, you can get a good college and branch of your choice. No engineering branch is good or bad. It depends on your interest.
    Good luck.

It depends on your interest. First score good in your 12th exam, it will lead you to the best university and desirable course, then look for options you are interested in.
