it totally depends on your interest. if u like logical reasoning, may be u can go for CS , EC r EE. if ur more of a physical guy ten u can go for mech or civil. those r most preferred branches. other branches r also equally important. ter r other branches like industrial production, information science, aeronautics, aerospace, instrumentation etc choose wisely l. best of luck.

nowdays the branch which is in trade are CSE,IT,ECE,EE,SE in these branch u can get placed surely.
but in future IT and ECE will suffer most in lack of jobs
Mech and Civil engineering has their own place.these two branches can prove as a game changer.
i m not comparing that any branch with other that it is good,or it is worse
i m jst telling u the reality

u shud have talent to pursue and perform best in it

nowadays students mostly ask for what they can get in future by choosing a specific career .e.g. which course has scope,best package n all that stuff. computer.sci I a good field in engg. nowadays and has scope .as u can ask experienced ones near u.
