It all depends on your class 12th marks. For engineering, computer science, mechanical and electronic and communication are best.

Civil and electrical engineering are preferred, but if you can work hard, opt for chemical or aerospace engineering.

There are so many branches. 1st, you need to make a great basic pillar in 12th. You can go for entrance couching now. Best colleges are IIT, NIT, MANIPAL, VIT, CUSAT, DTU, etc. If you need to do aviation courses from IIST.

Class 11 is just beginning. Enjoy & work hard till 12 & introspect yourself where you are good at. There are a lot of career opportunities with at least PCM combinations as an engineer. CSE, Mechanical, Electrical/ Electronic/Instrumentation, etc are core ones but there are many more fields like Mechatronics, etc which are well known for career satisfaction. It all depends on your dedication, innovativeness & study environment. But at first you need to work your level best these 2 years to crack the top level entrances which are JEE-MAIN, JEE-ADV, BITSAT, etc. While preparation you will be wise enough to choose the best suitable career

If you are more concerned about placement then CS & IT branch for engineering is the best in present pace of time as IT sectors are growing vastly.
