Right now, just focus on mathematics and other core subjects, dreaming is good, but daydreamer, never go far. As a professional teacher, I suggest you just study hard and automatically things happen in the right way.

To become an engineer, you need to complete your class 12th in science with PCM. All the branches are good in engineering, it depends on you in which you want to do engineering.

Mechanical engineering is the best branch. Surely, computer Science offers most jobs and highest packages, but remember one thing you can always be a software engineer with mechanical branch, but you can never be a mechanical engineering with computer science branch.
Secondly, it becomes easier to give UPSC exams like IES, since you study most of it in your college days. Working in a government sector having government provided residence, vehicle and may be security, earning 80,000 INR or more per month is any day better then working in a private sector with 8-10 hours daily work with no job guaranty.
