After knowing your own knowledge and capabilities you can choose only one branch. Your career is in your hands so you have to decide the same.

There is no universal branch that is best for everyone. The best answer I can give you is that find your interest and then choose the branch.

Do engineering in that branch where you find your interest! I am doing B.Tech in ECE. If you want to learn more and more, do engineering, it is much more interesting than any other course.
It is not true that engineers do not have jobs. A lot of PSUs and Govt. jobs especially in the branches like Electrical Engineering, ECE, CS, IT, Mechanical, EEE are there which pays a lot. But if possible do not do engineering in a specialise branch. I think so because if you do engineering in a specialise branch, you can proceed your higher studies in that branch only, but if you do engineering in a core branch then even you can continue your highe

If you like computer programming, then you can go for computer science or IT. If you have interest in mathematics and physics, then you should go for material science engineering.

There are core branches in engineering like mechanical, civil, electrical, computer science and electronics. You can select anything according to your interest. You should complete your inter with good percentage and if you are passionate about engineering, you should try to get admission in IITs and NITs.

The best branch of engineering is CSE. You should only opt for CSE in IIT if you are a brilliant student.

It totally depends on your interest. Interest in a field can make you an exceptional engineer. In the present time, the field is mechanical engineering. Since you are currently in 11th, you should concentrate your studies and score good marks in both the class. All the best.

I would suggest you to kindly concentrate on your class 11th, as this is the time you need to clear your concepts so that your class 12th will go as easy. In class 12th you should rigorously prepare for JEE, as you have your interests in engineering. There are many students who are in class 12th now and are regretting the time they wasted so easily in class 11th. Once the results are in your hand, you will automatically come to know which branch is best for you. You can also decide this in your vacations. But, don't think about that now. I have seen many who have even decided the colleges, but have not even started their preparations.
