Dear Student,
I ave gone through your previous queries in detail, and as you have mentioned that you are from a Non - IT background and want a job in Server Administration, then the best way is to opt for MCA only. As then you will have no problem of being from Non-IT background.
MCA candidates are considered equally good to Engineering students of CSE/IT.
Also for increasing your profile value in server administration field you can check the advanced courses of administration and server management that I mentioned in my other answers to your questions:
For Example:
Building Blocks of Server Management
Securing Windows Server
Patch Managemen

Hi,
To get entry into an MBA degree you need to have a graduation degree. It would be really difficult to get into an MBA program without graduation but he can try and go for some diploma, Advance Diploma & certificate programs in management.
Although it would be difficult to name any Open University which will accept him as a student of MBA but he can try & talk directly to the Open Universities to get first hand information on that.

Hi Srikanth,
If by On site education you are referring to the mode of study then this is similar to what we know more popularly as the Online education, in there isn't any class interaction instead virtual classes are held for doubt clearing and online assignments are provided.
I would advise you to opt for regular mode of education instead of any other, because regular education offers far better value and also career prospects as well.
There aren't many options to pursue Online education also the value of such a course is questionable.
Kindly revert for any further queries, also if you liked this answer then rate it 'Best answer' or give

Hi,
First thing I would like to specify here is that an Indian Institute giving you a degree in collaberation with Foreign University would not give you any extra edge unless it is a collaberation with Ivy League like Cornell. So, while deciding I would suggest that you should keep few things in mind like Recognition of the Institute, Course Curriculum, Faculty Background, infrastructure & last but not least Institute's Ranking & Placements. I would also suggest that before enrolling you should pay a visit to both the Institutes & try to talk to the current batch students & the faculties of your program. This will give you further clari

Hi Mohan,
What I could gauge from your query is that you want to know the difference between an MBA through a B-School and an MBA through University. The main difference In India would be that B-schools which come under the Category of "Technical Institutes" can not give you a UGC recognised degree and can not provide an MBA but Post Graduate Diploma programs which are AICTE approved whereas, Universty will always give a UGC recognised MBA degree, all the Universities in India needs to be recognised by UGC.
Another thing which differentiates University from B-School is its campus. University will have much bigger campus than a B-School

Hi Rajat,
Well in either cases among the jobs in Government sector or doing MBA from a premier institute, the preference is given to the students/ graduates through the regular mode making it quite difficult to get trough but then it is entirely and one can opt for the two options provided the University/ college from where you pursue your graduation (through correspondence) should be a well reputed and recognized Institution (under govt. bodies like DEC).
To know about the various courses that one can pursue through correspondence and the institutions offering these, you may refer to the following link:
