For Indian students GRE is must as most of the university in germany ask for the GRE score its a compulsion for admission in engineering especially for mechanical, automobile engineering programs and so its always advisable to give GRE before applying. Also you are going to take TOEFL so let me tell you try to score 530 in TOEFL PBT or 71 i IBT .
