BCA or Bachelor of computer applications is an undergraduate course in the field of computer applications. This course has time duration of three years. These three years consist of six semesters of six months each. In the last semester as part of the project work, each student has to work in an organization for four to six weeks. After the project work, they have to submit the assignment to the College for internal assessment.
BCA course can provide professional knowledge in programming languages like C, C+, and Java.They can also provide diverse knowledge in the field of financial accounting and operation management.

B.Sc is general course. but BCA is professional course based on IT. BCA syllabus made for grab good career in IT field. so BCA is best for today's market.

BCA is Bachelor of Computer Applications and is concerned with applications of computers. It is a 3-year graduation degree course generally for those students who wants to learn computer languages and who want to join software firms after it. Higher education opportunities include MCA and MBA.
B.Sc IT deals with information technology and its applications. This degree is primarily focused on subjects such as software, databases, wireless and networking. Jobs in IT are recession dependent, but let's hope for the best and talk about positives.

In terms of job aspect in IT domain, BCA has more demand than B.Sc.IT. Moreover, BCA is a professional degree whereas B.SC. IT is an academic one.

If you like programming line, then you should do BCA. If you want to study the theory of Computer Science, so you should do B.Sc.
You can take any stream as per your interest.

Both the courses have their own scope. B.Sc. In IT is a general course while BCA is a professional course related to the IT field. So, both have a different scope in future. Go for the course in which you have more interest.
