When talking about placements and jobs, BCA is definitely a better option as compared to B.Sc. IT as it is a professional course it gives a person vast knowledge about programming language. B.Sc. IT on the other hand is also a promising course, which can ensure good grip of knowledge on various topics related to IT sector.

Generally, the BCA and MCA are more prominent to the IT recruiting agencies, than the B.Sc IT and M.Sc. IT. BCA is more productive and favorable for getting jobs in the corporate sector; while B.Sc. IT is more suitable for making careers in academia and disciplinary research.

B.Sc. Computer Science is more concept-oriented while BCA is an application-oriented programme. While pursuing BCA you learn about current technologies and get a basic idea of in-demand programming languages also BCA is more productive and favorable for getting jobs in the corporate sector; while B.Sc.
