I too agree with all of you. I have also done my MCA from IGNOU. Even I am very tensed about my career. Really Its d time to get unite. We face a lot of problems n a lot of hard work as compared to regular students, but still the companies give preference to regular students.

My friends there are thousands of company's worldwide who are far more better and who offered excellent packages to the deserving candidates regardless of their distance learning certificates. They view the potentiality of candidates not their certificate type. If that is the case then quit the idea

Hi, it is not true. An Ignou MCA student can appear for recruitment exams conducted by companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys etc. Since IGNOU MCA is through distance learning, therefore you should have relevant work experience in the same domain, to expect an interview call. All the best!

It seems that they offer less preference to distance qualified, but more for regular qualifieds. There are no hard and fast rules of such sort, but the phenomenon is not limited to companies listed by you
