The most demanded engineering branches are Computer Science, Electronics & Communication and Mechanical from the point of job perspective and student demand. There are not many colleges who offer aeronautical engineering branch and except IIT-Kanpur and IIT-Bombay, none of the colleges have full fledged avionics labs. Any one who wants to pursue career in avionics through Indian Air Force, HAL, AAI or ISRO, can do so, by having B.Tech. degree in Electronics & Communication, mechanical, Computer science or electrical engineering as further training in aeronautical or avionics is given by them.
