    Dear Manju, Yes, you can pursue B.Sc in Agriculture after the 12th class in mandatory subjects English*, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry. One of my friends did B.Sc (Hons. ) in Agriculture from LPU that is ICAR approved. LPU is the 1st private university that got approval from ICAR. (I). The School of Agriculture is approved for accreditation for a period of five years with a GPAC of 3.42 (ii) The following degree programmes were approved for accreditation for a period of five years

    The most significant thing which should be emphasized is that LPU is the first private university which has been approved by ICAR. I along with my cousins had visited the fields, labs. In order to infuse understanding on emerging problems and technologies involved in agriculture field visits are conducted to neighbouring farms, orchards and nurseries. Not only subject related education is imparted but also the professional enhancement is added by the university through the different courses like soft skills and communication skills.
