2 drops in engg. but I topped my college in the 7th sem(76.5%).Can I get a good Job if I score good in last sem,despite 2 drops?

I have two drop years in engineering but i worked really hard and managed to score good in the 7th semester.I am not eligible for campus interviews as of now but can i get a job if i continue scoring good in the last sem?

You will not get job in private sector IT companies but otherwise would be eligible for government, PSU and defense sector jobs with First class degree as they do not consider drop or gap in study.
