92.33%ile in mat (dec) is there any good college on input and output bases . composite score 690

As my cat score is really low so m in a dilemma whether should i choose a college on mat basic this year itself or should i drop a year, get a job for work experience of a year nd then again go for cat2015 or otherwise should i take a college on mat score basic, i seriously need your suggestion ?
