    You can get good branches in lower NIT. There is a very less chance in top NIT.

    First of all, congratulations for clearing JEE Main with a good percentile. If someone is from general Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category and had got 90 percentile in JEE Main then he can easily get admission in a lower NIT in a good branch.
