Teachers having B.Ed Degrees or other teacher training certificates after graduation are called Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) and these teachers are eligible to teach in junior classes in school, teachers having a teacher training certificate after post graduation are called postgraduate trained teachers (PGTs) and they are eligible to teach senior classes in school. TGT or Trained Graduate Teachers should have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent from a recognized University with 50% marks or above in aggregate as well as in the concerned subject for recruitment and B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from a recognized University. Post Graduate Teacher requires Masters Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned or related subjects and B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from a recognized University. Their salaries vary with the qualification and experience levels.The minimum qualification of an assistant professor is a PhD. The entry level positions are known as lecturers (or sometimes assistant professors). The positions of reader are similar to associate professor and the highest is professor. Becoming a college lecturer is definitely the rewarding career choice in terms of position and money. Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:-You must have done graduation in any field from any recognized University. AGE CRITERIA: -You must be above 21 years. There is no upper age limit for this exam. The SYLLABUS FOR THE EXAM IS: The exam is divided into three pars and they are: Part -1 1) General Awareness 2) Current Affairs 3) General Science & Indian Constitution 4) Reasoning 5) Quantitative Aptitude 6) Teaching Aptitude etc 7) questions and the medium of the question paper will be both English and Hindi. Hello, I am sanjana, i m doing B.A. (2nd year). unfortunately i got married now. but thankfully my husband is allowing to complete my study. i want to do TGT and PGT. but i can do only by correspondence. so please suggest me. how can i apply. and what will be the procedure. in delhi
