TET will be conducted in first week of November 2011 for filling up more than 80,000 teacher vacancy in Uttar Pradesh Examination – fees and receipt of application: Fee for Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test is as below: General and Backward class candidates: Rs. 500/- SC / ST candidates: Rs.250/ – Disabled candidates: NIL The last date for receipt and submission of application - (A) Last date of receipt of applications from the branches of Bank of Punjab National Bank is 26-09-2011. (B) The last date of submission of application form via registered post / speed post to the concerned Divisional Joint Education Director is 18-10-2011 till 5-00 pm. Applications received after the above prescribed last date will not be considered. Teacher Eligibility Test – Uttar Pradesh Minimum Qualifications: (1) Class I to V (Primary) Graduate and NCTE approved two years course in BTC/CT (Nur)/ NTT or Graduate and NCTE approved BTC training from UP or Graduate with 50 % marks and B Ed or NCTE approved B Ed/ D Ed (special Education)/ B Ed (special Education) and graducation with 45 % marks is also eligible to be appointed as teacher in primary classes. In this case the candidate have to pass an NCTE approved six months course
