After 3rd year, you are supposed to do industrial training and from 7th semester onward, campus placement drive would begin. Study hard in your last year. if u want core electrical job then prepare for PSU and GATE. most of the PSU now recruit on your GATE score basis. it needs a lot of hard work to crack GATE.
and if u only need a good job then u can also try software industry. software industries only need b.tech studen

If you feel you can be a better technologist opt for PG programme in engineering. Else if you feel you can be a better manager, opt for management programmes.
