Hi Acupuncture is a practice and fall under paramedic course. Normally, only a medical graduate is allowed to pursue Acupuncture course. There are private unrecognized institute who offer courses to anybody but you need to be careful. Also, you will be therapist, not a doctor by training yourself in

What is the duration of this course and does distance course are valid?
