In the case of a majority of courses, including B.Tech, MBA, Law, etc., the university also organizes its own entrance and scholarship test known as LPUNEST, which is compulsory for admission as well as scholarship purposes. LPU will release cut-off marks above which you will be eligible to grab a seat in LPU. You can take admission on either LPUNEST or class 12th score.

The admission criteria for LPU is based on either the Board marks, LPUNEST or other competitive exams which you have qualified at the class 12th level.
