admission in NITIE by attempting GATE/CAT for management coursemy Q is which exam is better & tell me cut-off for it?

Probably you are asking about National Institute of Industrial Engineering(NITIE). Admission Procedure for PGDIE is that Every candidate has to qualify through GATE "2012/2011". This will be followed by Group Discussion and Interview of the short listed candidates to be held at NITIE, Mumbai. Candidates need to submit a photocopy of GATE score card / printout of GATE score from website. Selection of Industry sponsored candidates with 2 years industry experience is through personal interview only (NO GATE SCORE REQUIRED). Admissions to PGDIE course are open to graduates in all branches of Engineering/Technology or equivalent. The candidate must have first class degree (relaxable by 5% incase for SC/ST/PDcandidates). Admission for the following Programs through are through CAT 2011: 1) Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management (PGDIM), 2) Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety and Environmental Management (PGDISEM), 3) Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology Management (PGDITM). Candidates should have Bachelor's Degree with First Division(60% marks or more as per your University regulations or equivalent CGPA) in any branch of Engineering / Technology or equivalent. Now it depends which course you choose.
