After class 10, you can only become a private pilot. You shall get a PPL which shall allow you to fly privately but shall not give you any privileges of flying commercially.
For becoming a commercial pilot, there is a specific eligibility criteria, which you should first be aware of. This is decided on what subjects have you taken in class 12th. It requires PCM to be a pilot. And, even if you have not opted for the same, then you can appear separately for these subjects and become eligible. Further, you should be aware that you are medically fit to be a pilot, so I would suggest you to visithttp://www.dgca.nic.in/medical/medical-ind.ht

    Hi,
In order to become pilot after 10th, firstly you need to be able to clear DGCA medical class - 2 conducted by DGCA approved doctors and then medical class-1. Secondly, you need to join any flying school and have to complete your flying hours including ground subjects in order to acquire commercial pilot license (for CPL -200 hours of flying). Then you will be able to join any airlines.
