I believe that free things doesn't work for long period bcoz side by side we all are only misutilising it in one or he other way .For better growth of ourself as well as fr country rules and regulations should be followed by evryone.than only one day we will on the top.

    Manmeet Kaur50173 Thanks inviting me,
    to this beautiful discussion started,
We are Independent, we are FREE more then we should,
We may defend our self saying “It's not new to world… it happens everywhere”
But one thing is true that our system is too immature to handle many of such social evils,
We can't neglect the influence of MONEY, POLITICS, RELIGION etc into law and order,
“If one posses any of the mentioned power, he is very much eligible to do many of such antisocial activity”
Ours is a country where citizens demanded a strong Bill/Rule to control corruption from 66 years still it's under consideration and our country comes

I would say - we have not yet attained the total independence. Still there are girls in rural areas who are deprived of their education. We all are aware of the reservation system in India and even after raising the voice, its been only heard by very few. We have the rights to vote- accept, but do we have the rights to nominate the people who are contesting for the election? We are not free of the superstitious belief. Still there are many areas where sati, child marriage, infanticide are being practiced. Richer are becoming more rich and poorer are moving still below the poverty line.

We proudly claim that we are independent from a foreign rule but we are still not free from jealousy, intolerance and hatred towards our fellow countrymen. We are full of bitterness towards other religions, traditions and always try to suppress the growth of the other. We are tied in shackles of terrorism, false ideologies, corruption, communal violence, and class – caste distinctions and so on. We tend to forget that independence is not only living freely but also allowing others to live freely.

A good discussion started, Yes I would certainly agree that we are free, though there may be some issues, but issues prevails every where, as an Indian we all should make a small effort so that our country become one of the best country in the world.

It all starts with yourself. If I am a male, and my ego has the chances of getting hurt by a female who is more competent than me in some respects, what are the immediate thoughts coming into me? I mean the IMMEDIATE BASIC RESPONSE. If my childhood experience, or my animal instinct tells me that "Women are only homemakers, made to obey their male counterparts, and cannot really be professionals in any other field", then , I will compulsively handle that female with insults and letting her down by screaming, physically hurting, or even raping her to satisfy my own animal ego !In olden times, around 1947, women DID act as homemakers in
