After appearing 1st class medical certificate for pilot, if I fail in any of the test then do I have to appear after one year?

It is not necessary that you will be called up after one year for re-examination. If there is anything that is recommended to you and printed on your assessment, then you may be called up even earlier or just after you justify that recommendation.
