I am giving this answer in very short way and the answer is I can give you two easy and hard way
Easy Way- You can take admission in any normal college without any B.Tech (These all colleges are private and not very high level like placements and good faculty members not available in all colleges. )
Hard Way - Do preparation for JEE Mains if you want to take admission in B.Tech, and then give entrance exam. Here, there is not only JEE Main, there are many more exams but for every exam, you need to study hard because here is very high competition for top colleges.

    1. Firstly, B.Tech applicants must clear any of the entrance exams for admission to the institute.

After class 12th, to get admission in best colleges like IITs for B.Tech, you have to prepare for JEE Mains and advanced, after qualifying these two exams you can apply for different IITs, NITs and other popular colleges that suits your score in JEE. If you fail to qualify JEE or if you're not interested in IITs you may go with your state level engineering entrance exam and based on your score you can apply different colleges. For example, in Telangana we have EAMCET.
