Hi In india, you have the following options: 1. Master of Science in Applied Geology (Technical) 2. Master of Science in Applied geology 3. Master of Science in Geology (Hons) 4. Master of Science in Geology and Applied Chemistry 5. Master of Science in Petroleum Geology 6. Master of Science in Marine Geology 7. Master of Science in Petroleum Geosciences 8. Master of Science in Geology (Technical) 9. Master of Science in Geo Physics All are excellent options and will place you in organisation like Geological survey of INDIA, Govt Mining Departments, Director General of Hydro carbon, Central Ground water board, Indian bureau of mines, Govt mining departments, Mining companies like ONGC, Oil India etc. Oil and Gas exploration companies like Reliance, Hindustan Zinc limited and other research organization companies. UPSC conducts exam for geologist if you wish to work there. You can also explore study options abroad as they have diverse fields too. Hope this suffice.
