After Diploma in mechanical engineering, am I eligible to pursue aeronautical engineering?
Hi, I am from Visakhapatnam studying Diploma in mechanical engineering & I want to do aerospace engineering in Madras Institute. I want to know about the eligibility, exam details, admission details and fee structure.

6 years agoHello Yaswant, It's very nice to know your dream of becoming an aeronautical engineer. But unfortunately Tamil Nadu government or for that matter normally any state government does not permit students from other states to join in degree colleges of their states. Hence even though you may be technically eligible, I doubt if you can get admission there. Your best chance is college in your state or study hard and get admission in IIT which treat Diploma as equivalent to 12th.
