Hi, * After diploma in civil engineering you may join lateral B.Tech course and can directly enter into the second year. Degree course will open more opportunities for you. If you want to work alongside then you may join correspondence course. * List of lateral entry colleges (correspondence) : -JNTU-SCDE -Acharya Nagarjuna University -IGNOU * Procedure : - To take admission, you need to sit for Lateral Entry Entrance Test or LEET which is conducted at state level. Some colleges and Universities too conduct their own lateral entry tests. - Eligibility for admission to lateral entry course is a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the Diploma course. In order to obtain AMIE, one will have to pass section 'A' and section 'B' examinations. Diploma holders in engineering are also eligible to register in the Diploma stream of the AMIE Examination. NO YOU CAN DO be/ bTECH FROM DISTANCE IT IS NOT VALID AS PER aicte RULE SO GO FOR REGULAR DEGREE
