    Every hospital has its own rules with regards to compulsory services after MBBS or MD. The St. Johns Medical College Hospital began functioning in 1975. It is a private medical college and hospital situated in Bangalore. Candidates seeking admission must apply through the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) or NEET PG. The college's postgraduate courses MD last two years and includes a specific mandatory service in hospital or affiliated hospitals as mandated by St John hospital.
