After giving entrance exams like CAT how the percentile is calculated? Do my graduation and 12 class perFORMANCE will also be counted ?

I want to know that after appearing in the mba competitive exams like cat/mat/snap how the percentile of an individual is calculated? Is the percentile is the score of the entrance exams only or it is the total of all my previous performances like 12 class ,graduation ,entrance exams? kindly explain

Dear Abhinav, Just like any percentile score is calculated. A percentile represents the rank of a candidate in an examination, relative to the rest of the candidates who appeared for the same examination in the same time-frame. Let's say there were 10 students who gave an exam, including you. If y
