Hi,
Yes, after MCA students may apply for jobs in government sector.
1) To work with the Government sector the candidates need to take the entrance exam conducted by the respective body. Some of the Government firms looking for the MCA candidates are :
-Gas Authority of India Ltd.
-Hindustan Pe

Yes lots of MCA holders are working these days in govt sector.One can find MCA people in various sectors including Banks,IT (NIC,keltron for example) etc
