Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in any of Physics, Biological Sciences, BA MS, BHMS, BPT and any other related discipline, with a minimum aggregate score of 50% to get eligible for the course. Admission to the course is based on the candidate's performance in the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc (JAM). It varies for every college. -

Students should have passed graduation with any of the Life Sciences subjects (Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry), B.Sc Agricultural Sciences. The students must have secured at least 55% marks in qualifying examination from a recognized University or Institution. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply subject to their passing the examination before the admissions are finalized.
