There are many benefits for an IAS officer after retirement
They get lifelong pension from the government
They also get re employed by the government in some sectors. For ex. The current PS for PM is a retired IAS officer. -
You will get pension until your whole life and you can be appointed as a secretary of any ministry after retirement too.
