NRS Kolkata is more recommended by experts in comparison to AIIMS Gorakhpur as NRS Kolkata has scored 22nd ranked in medical colleges. Kolkata Medical College was established in 1838 and AIIMS Gorakhpur is a new college which became operational in 2019 with only 50 MBBS seats. AIIMS Gorakhpur was established in 2019 and is one of the up-and-coming medical institutes in the country.
