Dear Joshep, I have no idea about the BSc. in Agriculture programme at Alpine Group of Institutes. But being alumni of LPU, I can share details of this programme at LPU. LPU is the first private university that got approval by ICAR. (i). The school of Agriculture was approved for accreditation for a period of five years with GPAC of 3.42 Placement: LPU students got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Students of the School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio Seed, Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Sanra organics, and many more. The highest package of this programme at LPU is 19.25 LPA and the average package is 3.4 LPA. Scholarships: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. If you are looking for the best institute in agriculture which is affiliated toICAR then my vote goes to LPU. LPU is the only private university that has ICAR approval. LPU students got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Students of School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio Seed, Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics and many more. The package really depends on what he can show to the recruiters that, how much he is worth or deserved. There were some students who cracked the placement and got offered 1 crore LPA, while many failed to do so.On an average the Agriculture students of LPU is offered and placed in the starting package of 5.5 TO 6 LPA(Fixed salary) while there may be cases of students getting less than that or more than that.Like I said, LPU will provide you the platform and the opportunity, but it is really you who have to go and perform on the platform being provided. LPU is the only private university that has ICAR approval. Agriculture is a growing sector in the present times and emerging as a field of opportunities. LPU is the only private university that has been accredited by ICAR. It has set certain standards and for this FEAT it has received many accolades. The experienced faculty along with the high standards maintained for the grooming of students has made it a hub of academic excellence. The sprawling infrastructure aids the practical knowledge needed for this field and well-equipped labs have been provided to propel the career of students to a zenith. Bachelor of Science in Agriculture also includes on-farm RAWE (Rural Agriculture Work Experience) training and hands-on experimental developing confidence in the graduating students of Agriculture. The students have been recruited in Syngenta, VLCC, Reliance Fresh, Dhanuka, etc. Due to ICAR accreditation, a large number of companies are visiting the campus. The agriculture department has many feathers of success: More than 44 renowned firms and industries are on board for an on-campus and off-campus drive in 2018-19. Around 90% of the students got placed. Among the drive conducted the major associates were Syngenta Pvt. Lmt. , Tata Rallis India, Bioseed, Emami, GSR with a maximum package offer of 5.68 Lacs. Seats are filling up fast due to online admissions so be fast to grab your seat. If I talk about placements, University provides separate placement-oriented classes, and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etc. Etera is part of the curriculum to prepare the students. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms. LPU offers different types of scholarships on the basis of marks in either of the last two qualifications, LPU NEST Sports, Defence, COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship, and many more. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship, only one scholarship you will get is the maximum one. LPU is a first private University having ICAR accreditation. ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) co-ordinates agricultural education and research in the country under the aegis of Ministry of Agriculture (Govt. of India). LPU School of Agriculture has been granted accreditation by the National Agricultural Education Board of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, making it the first and only private University in the country to receive the accreditation.
