Am I eligible for 50% scholarship in B.Tech program based on 12th marks?

Dear Bhavya, The eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST. LPU promotes following scholarship: 1. On the basis of marks in previous class 2. LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test LPU NEST on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship 3. Some national level tests like JEE Mains, NATA NEET UCEED CAT XAT MAT CMAT NMAT GPAT GATE etc. 4. Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities. 5. Board Toppers 6. For Orphan students or person with certain disabilities 7. Defence personnel and central armed police forces (CAPF) dependents 8. LPU has also floated COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship for the survivors of COVID and for their dependents as well. # From the above mentioned scholarships, candidate will get one that too which will be maximum one. In addition to this, if LPU NEST score is more than or equal to Category I cut-off 'or' JEE Main percentile equal to more than 90 'or' 90% or above aggregate marks in either 12th or 10th then you get the highest scholarship of 40% in CSE and Robotics but for all other branches this would be 45%You are advised to apply before june 15th, the slabs for scholarship are expected to be reduced after that. Dear Bhavya, As you have not mentioned the marks in the 12th class, I cannot assure you about the scholarship. I recommend you visit the official website of LPU to get an exact scholarship based on the marks in the 12th class for the CSE programme. I did MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is also studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are a few points I would like to share with you why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. PEP Classes- LPU provides placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. These classes help students for placements so that they can get selected in the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year.
