Am I eligible for admission in B.Tech automobile engineering?

Automotive Engineering is an amalgamation of mechanical, electrical, and materials Science. This field deals with designing and manufacturing of new vehicles and the development of new processes to improve existing technology. The domestic vehicle manufacturing sector of India has been steadily increasing in the last few years. An entry-level engineer can earn up to INR 25K/ month- INR 50K/ month in India. Some of the companies/institutes that recruit Automotive Engineering graduates are: 1. Bajaj Auto Ltd. 2. Eicher Motors Ltd. 3. Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. 4. Hinduja Group Ltd. LPU is a good university when you compare it with other private universities and colleges. I have done my B.Tech CSE from LPU, One of my friend was enrolled in B.Tech Automobile as well. Few major point I will be sharing about LPU, I hope that helps. LPU is good for automobile engineering. Good placements in core company as well as software company. Other than participating different events like go kart, project expo, entertainment events like one India, one world etc. Practical based learning and valuable guest lectures also. LPU provides a lot of opportunities to each and every of the eligible students for good placement. LPU rated as 11th Best in India from Zee News Survey in Placements. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements, after all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. I shouldn't even have to explain this one. Various major companies take part in recruitment at LPU every year, some as Volkswagon, Voltas, Anglo Eastern Ship Mgt. , Asahi India, Rockman (Hero group), Dharam Consulting, Samundra, Indo-MIM, Sandhar Technologies, JK Lakshmi Cement, Maruti, Lava, XL Dynamics, Asahi India, Cleanmax Solar, Elgi Equipments, etc. On an average, 200 MNCs visit our campus every year, placing around 2000 students every year. Packages vary from 7.9 LPA to 30lpa based on the individual skill. Apart from their placements, LPU also provides rich support to its students to focus on their entrepreneurship projects that can help the student set up their own business. Every year, lot of championships and competitions such as Go Kart are organized in the university for giving a platform to students for innovation and development.

Dear Aashutosh Ranjan, Yes, definitely, you are eligible for admission to B.Tech in Automobile Engineering through lateral entry. You should have a minimum of 60% marks in your Diploma. I was completely flabbergasted by the designs of cars, robots and new inventions done by them. I will try to answer your question to the most awesome aspect of my insight. I can not comment anything about CU or any other colleges. All, I can basically say is don't just go by the name and accreditation and look in detail how much efforts the university or faculty puts in to make their students achieve their goals of their own. LPU provides with numerous opportunities in all the terms like Live projects and internships from companies add experience in the automobile engineering graduates. Annually, a number of championships and competitions, such as Go Kart, racing, Robowar are organized by the university to provide students with a platform for innovation and development. Moreover, Mechanical engineering students designed a futuristic Formula One Racing Car at SAEINDIA 2017 Noida. Placement : Talking about recent placements, the highest package offered is 31 LPA and availed is Rs 7.9 LPA for ME from Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India. Rs 7.5 LPA for ME from Wilmar When it comes to Automobile Engineering 95% to 98% of our seniors have been placed in top-notch companies such as HERO MOTORCYCLES, HYUNDAI, ESCORTS, TAFE and many more. Automobile Engineering is the branch of engineering which deals with designing, manufacturing, mechanical mechanisms as well operations of automobiles. It is also an introduction to vehicle engineering which includes cars, motorcycles, trucks and buses etc. B.Tech programme in Automobile engineering in LPU deals with the study of various engines and their construction, electrical systems, alternative fuels, safety, economics and quality of an automobile.
