Am I eligible for B.Ed distance learning course?

Hi, The eligibility criteria of B.Ed distance education course is elaborated below: - The applicants must have at least 50% marks in Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Arts, Science, Commerce and Engineering streams in order to apply for distance B.Ed course. Candidates who wish to take up distance B.Ed must be trained in-service teachers in elementary education. Candidates who have completed teacher education programme recognised by NCTE in a face-to-face mode are also eligible to apply. Candidates who have at least two years of teaching experience in primary or upper primary schools can also take up distance B.Ed course. Thanks!

For B.Ed, you have to pass graduation with 60% marks. But, B.Ed is not correspondence course, so you have to join any regular University.

Eligibility Criteria for doing B.Ed is pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor's or Master's degree in science, social science, humanities, commerce or equivalent. Or Pass with 55% aggregate marks in B.Tech or BE with specialisation in science and mathematics or equivalent. (A candidate must have studied the subject of the subject combination for at least three years at Bachelor's degree level or at Master's level). 5% relaxation is there for SC/ ST/ OBC and other categories as applicable. Some institutes conduct entrance exams whereas, in some institutes, you can even apply directly for admission.

Or B.E. With specialisation in Science and Mathematics or equivalent (Candidate must have studied the subject of the subject combination for at least three years at Bachelors Level or Masters Level) 5% relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC and other categories as applicable. Some institutes conduct entrance exam where as in some institutes You can even apply directly for admission. Savitribai phulle University, Annamalai University.

Yes, you can go for B.Ed through distance in reputed institutes.
