Am I eligible for B.Sc in hospitality and hotel administration if I have opted for commerce stream in class 12th?

All stream students can apply for this course. The option for all the aspiring students is B.Voc Degree in Hotel Management. B.Voc is a work integrated degree programme where applicants get opportunity to earn while learning. In this programme theory classes happen at The Hotel School (training hub partner) and practical training is conducted at leading star category hotels in Delhi and Haldwani, Uttarakhand. B.Voc degree in Hotel Management is offered by Tata Institute of Social Sciences - School of Vocational Education (TISS-SVE), a NAAC A+ government. Of India funded Institution established in the year 1936. The fee structure of this programme is INR 42,000 - 45,000/- per year and students get opportunities to earn somewhere between INR 45,000 to 76,500/- per year during the course. Dear Aby, Hospitality Mgt. Is such a stream where in any stream Student get enrolled. Hospitality Mgt. , Tourism Mgt. And Aviation Mgt. Can be opted after any Stream (say it to be Arts, Science or Commerce). These Industries are Practical Industry demanding Practical Indulgence of Candidates and their Interests. You can choose a Bachelors Degree into this Mgt. Courses or else you can also opt for a 6 months Certificate Course in Hospitality Mgt. To Quick-Start your Career in Hotel Industry. No matter if you take a long term Course or a Short term Course, you need to undergo 6 months Industrial Training in a star rated Hotel Property to be a Hotelier. Both the ways are good enough, taking a Degree programme of 3-4 years or Certificate Course programme of 6 months. My brother chose unconventional programme, he completed 6 months Certificate Course in Hotel Mgt. Hi, Candidate must have to satisfy the eligibility Criteria ie; minimum 50% aggregate marks in your 12th class. In fact if you have a great score in 12th or 10th, you can get a scholarship based on the higher one. If you still don't get any scholarship, you can write LPU NEST and perform well to attain the scholarships as high as 45% of programme fee. You need to visit the website for full detail. Hello, Yes, you can definitely look forward with B.Sc. In hospitality and hotel administration, commerce students can opt for it. English is the only mandatory subject counted for admission by most of the colleges and universities. Aggregate criteria might vary from college to college and some even conduct their own entrance exam. Based on my experience, I would suggest you to have a look over LPU. Lovely Professional University is providing dynamic studies in Hotel Management. LPU, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab. Now here in LPU there is a relaxation in the eligibility criteria.
