Yes, you can get admission at some good colleges offering BTech Mechanical Engineering after securing 45% marks in Class 12 but the minimum eligibility criteria of one college would be different from the other. For example, if you wish to get into any of the IITs, the minimum Class 12 marks requirement is of 75% along with entrance exam marks.
