    Is Biology not a reasonable prerequisite to expect from future biomedical engineers? Of course it is an appropriate expectation from the engineers, since they are designing for the human body.

    No, anything to do with bio presupposes that you have taken biology in your 12th. I feel you should not get disappointed but start thinking of many other opportunities that are awaiting you in life.
