    JEE MAIN-
    Eligibility criteria related to Date of Birth
    1. Students who are born on or after October 1, 1992 are eligible to apply-
    Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD), should have been born on or after October 1, 1987. Candidates of these categories have been given a relaxation of 5 years. Note: Date of birth will be considered as per the Secondary Education Board/University certificate.
    2. Eligibility criteria related to qualifying exam-
    Aspirants should have passed 12th class or qualifying exam in 2015 or 2016. Students, who are appearing in class 12th or qualifying exam

    Yes, you are eligible to appear for both in 2017 and for JEE Mains in 2018.

    Hi Ripunjoy,
    You can only attempt JEE Mains in 2018 not JEE Advance because it is confined to only 2 attempts.
