Am I eligible for CLAT? I am in 12th standard and I want to do LLB.

Hi, If you a general category student then you are not eligible to appear for CLAT. If you are from reserved category then you are still eligible to appear for CLAT as such students can appear for CLAT till the age of 22. You may complete your graduation degree and do 3 years LLB degree course.

Dear Student, Yes, you are not eligible. CLAT Eligibility for UG Course (LL.B. ) CLAT Age Limit: As per the revised standards, there will be no upper age limit for UG programme in CLAT 2020. CLAT Eligibility: Academic Qualification A candidate must have secured minimum marks required in 12th standard, as per the category to which s/he belongs: For Unreserved /OBC /Specially Able Persons (SAP) and other categories A minimum of 45% marks required. For SC/ST Category A minimum of 40% marks required. General Criteria Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in April/May 2020 are eligible to register for Common Law Admission Test. They must submit an evidence of their successfully clearing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they will lose their right to be considered for admission. Submit the result of qualifying examination (I. e. , 10+2) at the time of CLAT Admission. In case of equal marks, the tie-breaking procedure is as follows: (I) Higher marks in the section of legal aptitude in CLAT 2020 (ii) Higher age (iii) A computerized draw of lots If you want to kick start a successful career in law, it is important to get admission into a good law college. Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary School/Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and persons with disability). Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination can also appear provisionally.
