I am currently pursuing B.Com.

You can give the exam only after completing the B.Com. I sugest you also give other exams after your B.Com is completed.

Yes you can take the exam for Clerk position while pursuing your last year B.Com.

Yes, you can give the clerk exam right away. But after your BCom, you can appear for many other competitive exams. For a good career, complete your BCom first.
